The main changes in ThermoGIS version 3.1 are:
- Rock property database
A rock properties database was constructed to store all data used for the construction of the aquifer property maps. The database has been and is being QCed intensely. - New property data
New data was used for the generation of the property maps obtained from the SCAN exploration wells, for the Breda Subgroup (Groote Heide and Diessen Formations), and for the Nieuwerkerk Formation. - Property maps
The calculation method of the net-to-gross, porosity and permeability maps was completely restructured for v3.1, now using data from the newly constructed rock properties database. The property mapping is fully automated and uses Universal Kriging with Drift, which improved the statistical basis and reproducibility of the maps. A thorough QC was applied to the resulting maps. The method is described in detail in this document. - Point data overlay
When net-to-gross, porosity or permeability maps are shown in the Mapviewer, the point data that were used to create the map can be superimposed by clicking the '+ Reservoir properties' button in the Mapviewer.
